GoldTrack Field — Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
GoldTrack Field ("the app") is a field companion for mine-site teams. It lets authorised staff of a mining organisation record daily operational and safety data. This policy explains what information the app collects and how it is used.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and a securely hashed password, created when you sign up or when your organisation adds you.
- Profile details your organisation may record, such as position, phone number, emergency contact, blasting licence number and employment date.
- Operational records you enter: daily equipment checklists, engine runtime logs, shaft daily logs, blasting records, sample logs, incident reports, shaft inspections, stock issue and purchase requests, and tasks and comments.
- Activity records: actions performed in the app (for example, creating a record) may be logged with your name for your organisation's audit trail.
How we use information
Information is used only to provide the app's functionality: authenticating you, storing and displaying your organisation's records, and keeping an audit trail for your organisation. We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Who can see your data
Records are stored on our servers and are visible to authorised members of your organisation according to their role.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Your sign-in token is stored on your device.
Data retention and deletion
Records are retained for as long as your organisation's account is active or as required by mining regulations. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and personal data, email [email protected].
Children
The app is intended for working adults and is not directed at children under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy; the updated date above will change when we do.
